2012/13 season announced: Opera and Music
Opera and music productions to be staged as part of the 2012/13
season have now been announced. Beginning in September with a revival of
The Ring Cycle – which sold out on the first day of booking –
the season features six new productions including stagings by Royal
Opera directors Kasper Holten and John Fulljames. The season also
includes celebrations of the Verdi and Wagner bicentenaries, as well as six operas screened internationally as part of the Royal Opera House Cinema season.
